The short answer

Start with the destination’s deposit page and compare it with the sender’s withdrawal choices. Both ends must support the asset on the intended network. Our text matching is not a compatibility check.

1. Check the receiving side first

Select the asset and network in the receiving account and check whether deposits are open. Find the corresponding withdrawal choice on the sender. A cheap network is not useful if the receiver does not support it. Resolve ambiguous abbreviations through official documentation or support.

2. Check the address and any tag together

Use the receiving account’s current instructions, including any Memo or Tag. Do not assume an old saved address remains valid or that similar address prefixes identify the same network. OKX explains that some deposits need both an address and a tag to identify the account.

3. Check amounts and availability

Record the withdrawal minimum, fee, estimated receipt and receiving minimum separately. A trial must also meet the current requirements. Pause if either side has suspended the relevant function. A checked box in our planner records your review; it does not override an exchange restriction.

4. Keep a record of the checks

Keep a separate network record, quote time and notes for each asset. Recheck the whole entry after a platform change instead of reusing yesterday’s confirmation. Resolve an uncertain asset individually; the others can remain where they are. The planner does not access wallets or verify settlement.
